The principal tool is the body. We developed different activities in collaboration with Interfem and RFSL both organizations from Stockholm. The aim of this Performance lab was to care our bodies, to strength them, to know our capabilities for interaction and create environments of acceptance and inclusion. The wonderful group was a diverse group of asylum seekers and newcomers.
The diversity of movements, rhythms, reflections, ways to keep calm through dance, yoga, relaxation, or a lovely meeting are some of the methodologies for this PerformanceLab.
Art Lab for All collaborated with the project “My Health, My Rights,” developed by Interfem in 2015. The workshops were conducted with a newcomers’ group at RFSL. This winter, Art Lab for All’s creative workshops focused on themes of equality, justice, and inclusion from the perspective of asylum seekers within the LGBTQ+ community
We have a variety of formats in the workshops, the theater pieces, the drawings, the radio channel, the poems and narrations from a diverse group that have a lot of necesities and unequal treatment when we talked about health in Sweden. The project is going to do a publication to help newcommers in the same situations or similar.
The end of the Video lab have came, on 31st of October 2014, we have done a screening show at RFSL in Stockholm. Most of the participants were presents and they could seen their own stories on video. That was a fantastic night to encorage all the group to participate in more coming workshops at RFSL
Video Lab have produce his own space of knoledge, collaboration, creativity, socialization and interaction between the group. Art lab Can’t wait to 2015 and bring more creative wokshops to RFSL, and overall to the great Newcomers group!

This will be our last chance outdoors at Guringo Project to develop -We are- workshop where families can come and share a little more about their own role at the family and through the sculpture to confirm wich is to be a family on this days!

Art lab for all has been at Brunkebergstorg 2014 at Guringo’s project. The project is a combined urban development- and art project stretching over the period of July-September 2014 and is set to be a creative starting point of a new development phase for this part of Stockholm. Art lab for all had the opportunity this weekend to share space with the bike festival and the Green party. It was great to see so many families drop in to the Botanical expedition to reflect on our urban parks and the nature of our city. We got fantastic feedback from kids and parents alike.
This lab is oriented for all of those who wants to have the possibility to use Video as a tool to clarify thinking processes and communicate individually or in a group an idea. We will create and experiment with image and sound.

The Labs are those spaces where we can interchange all kind of perspectives depending of the theme for example drawing lab, or video lab where we can develop activities to tell stories or express ideas about live limited by the theme proposed and technic.
We are is a workshop oriented towards all families. During one weekend in August, parents and their children will take part in activities and games that explore different aspects of the unit we call “family”. The objective is to discover and experiment with our roles as members of a family.
During three days parents and their children will explore the gardens and parks surrounding Solidaritetshuset and experiment with nature through painting, collage and video. We will explore and explain some natural processes through playing and film recordings.
